SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED FOR THE CAKE: (see pic below)
Wooden Circle (Cut from a wooden dowel rod) (Approximately 13/16" wide x 1/2" high)
Miter Saw (To cut the wooden circle from a dowel rod)
White Caulk (I used DAP Alex Plus Easy Caulk in a can, found at WalMart)
Mustard Seeds
Natural Apricot Seed Herbal Soap Additive (I found this at Hobby Lobby)(You can substitue crushed corkboard for this also to simulate the look of nuts)
Red Food Coloring (toothpick and a paper plate too, for dying mustard seeds)
Red Gallery Glass (with some Thinner/Dilutant mixed in)

SUPPLIES YOU WILL NEED FOR THE CAKE BOX:
Scissors
Glue
Small Piece of Parchment Paper, Wax Paper or Something Similar
Small Piece of Saran Wrap
Cardstock
Printer
Metal Ruler
Pencil
Box Cutter

Step 1: Cover the sides of the wooden circle with a thin layer of caulk.
Step 2:  Roll the caulk into your Apricot Herbal Soap Mix or Corkboard, whichever you are using.
Step 3: Put a thin layer of caulk on top of the cake.
Step 4:  Put your red mustard seeds in the middle of the cake, leaving a rim around the outside edge for the caulk.
Step 5: Put a thin layer of caulk around the top edge.
Step 6:  Add your gallery glass on top of the mustard seeds, making sure to cover any bare spots and be extra careful not to touch the caulk as it will stain it red.
Before starting:  lay out your mustard seeds on a paper plate, add a few drops of red food coloring to them and swirl them around with a toothpick until all the seeds are completely red.  Set aside to dry.
Right click to save this pattern to your computer and print out on cardstock.  If you prefer not to have any lines showing on the outside of your box you can glue your box with the lines inside or cut out the pattern and trace it onto cardstock.

Cut pattern on dotted lines and score the other lines with a box cutter and a ruler for a guide, so that the folds will be nice and neat.  Be careful not to cut too hard otherwise you will cut through the paper.  Cut out the window opening and glue a piece of Saran Wrap on the inside of the window opening.  Glue the box together making sure the side box flaps are on the outside of the box.

You can add a label on the top of the box for a bakery name like I did if you want, but this is optional.

Cut a small piece of parchment paper to put the cake on.  Glue the cake onto this and then glue into the box.  This is also optional.

A special thanks to Terri Coleman for cleaning up my pattern for me on Paint Shop Pro.
