I found my first miniature swapping group on Yahoo Groups back in May 2002, now I am currently in 13 different groups for swapping handemade miniature items.  Whatever your hobby may be, even if you are not into miniatures, I would definitely suggest signing up for a Yahoo group for the hobby you love.  You can learn so much through other people, and it really pushes you to use your creativity and imagination.  Except for an occasional argument here and there, lol, everyone is super sweet and we have a lot of fun on these groups.  I have met some great people through these groups and I just had to share some of the gorgeous minis they have made to date.
