Ann Stupca gave me the idea for the miniature diaper and helped me with instructions on how she made hers.  I think it came out pretty good, thanks a bunch Ann!!  If you'd like to see Ann's gorgeous miniature works of art (you won't want to miss these!) visit her website at:

All the other accessories I bought at a miniature store, including the anatomically correct baby boy, lol.
Annie (from Swapping Minis Group on Yahoo) gave me this adorable diaper bag that she made herself.  I purchased everything else.

Thanks Annie, this really added a nice touch to the whole scene!
I created this miniature nursery for my cousin Melanie in April 2003.  I took her with me to a miniature store in Frankfort, Illinois last year when we were going to a craft fair in the area.  This was her first trip ever into a miniature store and she was in love with everything, squeeling with delight at each new mini treasure she saw.  So I thought she would love to have her very own miniature scene, and what better time than any for her first baby shower.  She really loved the nursery, it was a big hit.  If you'd like to see pics from her baby shower visit my Webshots album at http://community.webshots.com/user/mishellyj

I glued 2 different ribbons together to make the pretty ribbon on the frame of the box.  I made the nursery out of a planter box, and added two wooden balls for feet on the back/bottom of the box.
I made the picture on the wall and everything else I bought.

All of the furniture in this roombox are kits made by Calico Delights.   You can order these through Dee's Delights giant miniature catalog through your local miniature store.

I bought the containers and filled them with beads.  The ABC blocks are actually buttons.

The shoes and train I also bought at a miniature store.

I made the mobile, lamp and Precious Moments bedding myself.

The mobile was made out of beads, buttons and wire.  I covered the top bead with material and ribbon on the edge.  After cutting off the button on the backs of the animals, I painted them and hung them from the topper using 34 gauge wire.  The wire holding the mobile to the crib is 26 guage.

The bedding is made from graphics I had and I just printed my own design on fabric printer paper.

The lamp is made out of a bear trinket, a plastic piece from an insulin shot and a toothpaste cap.  I glued a piece of ribbon over the cap to make it pretty.
