This close up picture really gives you a good view of all the hard work Michelle put into this swap.  I swear my jaw dropped to the floor when I got her swap in the mail, lol.  Everything is so tiny, I don't know how she had the patience for this.  Those cute little paper punchers, the scalpel, glitter containers, and mini packets with the tassle, feathers, shirt, hearts and beads..........WOW!!!  All her hard work was definitely worth the effort though when you look at her finished project!!!

I've always admired Michelle C's miniatures and I emailed her and asked if she'd like to do a one on one swap with me.  We agreed on a "craft in the making" theme and each one of us picked a craft we'd like the other one to make for us.  I picked "card making craft".  If you've been to Michaels craft store lately, I'm sure you've seen a whole isle devoted to making your own greeting cards.  They have some of the coolest supplies for that craft and I thought nothing would be better than having that scene in miniature.  You'll be amazed a what Michelle came up with for this swap.  See for yourself................
Here is the complete swap that she sent to me.  She made the table and chair herself out of balsa wood from a pattern she had.   She also glued all the tiny minis on the table to a piece of plastic so that I could move the scene as a whole.  The glue is easy to remove though if I wanted to move anything around, but I think it's perfect just as it is.

OUR SWAPS COMBINED:

Michelle had me make her a scrapbooking scene for this swap, which closely relates to the card making scene.  The end product really goes together fantastic!  Here's a picture of her swap and mine combined to give you an idea of how well it all looks together (table is bare wood not finished).  I am working on directions for my scrapbooking scene, when it's completed I will add it to my DIY projects.
